At the tender age of 20 years old, it may come as a surprise to some that Demi Lovato speaks about getting rid of her demons and being healed by her music – but that’s exactly what her fourth album has helped her do. The pop star has spoken about her new LP, simply called Demi, and said she found writing the songs for it to be “very therapeutic”.The X Factor USA judge shot to fame at the age of 16 when she appeared in the movie Camp Rock and that same year was signed to Hollywood Records and released her first album. Three years ago she spent time in treatment after she revealed that she suffered from bulimia, self-harming and was “self-medicating” with drugs and alcohol.But she came through it and her career is now going from strength to strength, and she says she has her fourth album to thank for making her feel better and more positive.

”My life has changed so much. I am vulnerable and honest in this record, the way I’ve always wanted to be. I was ready to come out of the darkness, Writing this album was therapeutic, it helped me get rid of my demons. I am a warrior now – I’ve been through so much in the past years, it was hard to find the courage to get out of it and write about it, I was afraid no one would understand my message.”

Demi also admitted that being a child star left her confused about her future and made her fall prey to “temptations” such as alcohol and drugs.

”I spent so much time trying to figure out what the right thing to do was, that I got distracted along the way by fun and temptations and that’s why I ended up in rehab at 18.”

Her fourth album was released last month and debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 and upon its release, she issued a statement that said: “I’m incredibly proud of this album. It’s better than anything I have ever done!

“I experimented with a variety of different sounds and poured my heart into writing these songs. I’m so excited for everyone to finally get the chance to hear them!”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may be young, but there is no doubt they’re in love.

Cyrus has already revealed what she loves about Hemsworth: he’s respectful, mature and a hard worker. Hemsworth, 22, however, is usually not one to openly speak about his relationship with Cyrus, 19. But in the new issue of InStyle Magazine, the private star, who popped the question to the “Party in the USA” singer in May, revealed what he loves about his soon-to-be wife.

According to Entertainmentwise, The Hunger Games actor was asked to describe his ideal woman. His answer? “My fiancée.”

He went on to say that she has all the qualities he looks for in a girl.

“She’s extremely happy and has a sense of humor about life. And she has taught me you can step back and not take everything so seriously,” he said. “Happy, positive, fun- those qualities are good in anyone.”

In addition to being “happy, positive and fun,” Hemsworth says Cyrus loves him unconditionally and is forgiving about some of his choices when it comes to fashion. He says he dresses like a “homeless person” sometimes and she “doesn’t care.”

“My style is very inconsistent. One day, I’ll put together a cool outfit, and the next, I’ll look like a homeless person,” he said.

Miley’s fiancé Liam Hemsworth talks about life as half of a hot Hollywood couple, from choosing what to where to parenting a pet.

On the read carpet, matching outfits are purely coincidental for this duo. “We don’t usually coordinate,” he says “and I think people usually get sick of seeing black. Still, I loved when we both ended up in all black [Dolce & Gabbana for him, Pucci for her.] at The Hunger Games premiere in L.A.”

It’s not just his wife-to-be’s black-tie ensembles that get this actor’s thumbs up. He’s equally complimentary of Cyrus’ off duty attire. “Miley switches up her style all the time,” he says. “Whether it’s a nice dress or a ripped T-Shirt, she always looks good in what she’s wearing.”

For Hemsworth’s 22nd birthday in January, Cyrus gave the longtime pooch fanatic and English Bulldog puppy named Ziggy. “We always had pet dogs when I was growning up,” Hemsworth explains. “And I love English Bulldogs.”

InStyle: You’re an amateur chef-a girl’s dream. Describe your ideal woman.

InStyle: Speaking of Miley, does she ever weigh in on your wardrobe?
Liam: She doesn’t care. My style is very inconsistent. One day, I’ll put together a cool outfit, and the next, I’ll look like a homeless person. Mostly I’m a T-Shirt and jeans-Levies or Nudie. I purchased a couple of Converse hoodies the other day. They make really good, soft cotton sweaters. But I stole this Vince shirt from the[wardrobe racks on the] InStyle shoot.
